Course Overview
Canadian Fire Alarm Association Electronics course. Pre-requisite for CFAA 5. This course covers basic electronic theory which includes electron flow, current flow, impedance, inductance, and capacitance. Rectification of A/C power, the theory and operation of charging circuits, batteries, voltage regulation and testing these systems will also be discussed. The lab exercises are designed to reinforce the theory taught in class. Accepted by ASTTBC as the Electrical requirement for the Registered Fire Protection Technician stamp when combined with CFAA 3
