Course Overview
This course reviews current BCWWA test procedures preparing students to write for cross connection control recertification. The BCWWA recertification examination will take place at BCIT. Student contact hours consist of 12 hours of instruction and a 6 hour exam. To confirm eligibility contact the BCWWA at 604-433-4389. Registration is required two weeks prior to the course start date. Register first with BCIT for this course and then go online at the BCWWA website at www.bcwwa.org to register and pay for the exam. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Test and troubleshoot reduced pressure backflow assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot double check valve assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot pressure vacuum breaker assembly.
- On successful completion student will achieve recertification for a further 3 year period.
