Covers general theories of measurement and pricing of construction work. Introduces: recognition of work, specific methods of measurement, estimating forms and common techniques. Sources of cost data and bidding procedures are examined.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- Break down quantities of work according to the 16 Division MasterFormat format.
- Utilize standard estimating forms to process a number of items, their measurements and extensions, and input them for future pricing and evaluation.
- Use systematic methodologies of data evaluation and input to minimize the possibilities for error in estimating.
