Course Overview
Updates authorized vehicle inspectors with relevant changes that have occurred in the Commercial Vehicle Inspection program over the last few years. Covers vitally important updates essential to the ongoing effectiveness of performing and recording accurate vehicle inspections including procedures to properly complete the required inspection report forms. Reviews relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act including those that financially impact inspectors.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Describe relevant changes in the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program;
- Correctly fill in and complete the various required inspection report forms;
- Identify how to avoid performing acts that could be costly offences;
- Utilize the Motor Vehicle Act / Regulations to reference the latest up-to-date information; and,
- Utilize CVI Manual to identify criteria process of inspection.
