Course Overview
This is the second module for the CHT Program (Certified Heating Technician). Students will have practical and theoretical experience with residential forced air systems. Students are registered by ITA and are able to challenge the Module D examination.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Calculate heat loss/gain according to quality first forced air guidelines.
- Describe equipment used in residential heating and ventilating.
- Describe heating system design.
- Design ducting and distribution of ventilation system equipment.
- Planning the installation of forced air heating and cooling systems.
- Demonstrate wiring of equipment and accessories.
- Use servicing and testing equipment.
