Course Overview
Real estate markets change in moments, and different sectors of the market are typically are often functioning independently based on product, location, and age of product. For a business to capture and harvest sustained profitability, business leaders must simultaneously embrace teamwork tapping into the benefits of collaboration at all levels, while operating decisively as individuals. In this course students focus on application of four core business concepts; Business Meetings, High Performance Work Teams, Business Case, and Business Strategy, and their coupling with a Marketing Strategy. Students work both independently and in teams to apply these concepts to real estate sector through case studies and the development of a Business Case, Business Strategy and Marketing Strategy. Students hone their team work and presentation skills to demonstrate competencies expected in the professional real estate industry.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Prepare, lead, and conclude effective and efficient Business Meetings.
- Rapidly, effectively, efficiently, apply the concept of High Performance Work Teams with related benefits to relevant real estate business challenges.
- Identify, analyze, conclude, and recommend profitable decisions by working through a Business Case for a real estate business opportunity.
- Build, and execute the elements of a Business Strategy to harvest optimal profit, as it would apply to a real estate business opportunity in each of startup, turnaround, and growth stages.
- Apply core business planning tools to identify and confirm the most sustainable option in any operational environment; turnaround, new, or maintaining the current direction and velocity.
