Course Overview
At the centre of business analysis is the ability to draw out and clearly articulate the requirements of key stakeholders. This course provides exposure to a variety of methods and tools used to elicit, document, and confirm requirements. The results of stakeholder engagement and elicitation is a core input for business analysis activity. You will learn these topics through lectures, exercises and discussions, case studies and/or scenario-based problem solving, both individually and working in teams.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify stakeholders and assess their influence and impact in the context of the business analysis activities
- Select appropriate methods to engage, communicate, collaborate with key stakeholders
- Apply appropriate methods and tools to:
- Prepare for requirements elicitation
- Conduct elicitation activities
- Confirm requirements
- Document requirements including features, functions, characteristics, user stories, use cases,
- Select and define methods to communicate business analysis information to ensure the stakeholders have a shared understanding.
