Course Overview
Students will learn to use Microsoft Excel for project planning and for management of construction projects. They will gain an understanding of how to communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner. Students will also learn about professional office behavior and modes of communication such as audio phone calls and emails.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Use Microsoft Excel for project planning and management.
- Describe project management techniques for construction projects.
- Demonstrate basic skills in project management software.
- Demonstrate entry level verbal and written communication skills.
- Create a cover letter and resume.
- Understand basic interview skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of safety on a job site.
- Demonstrate listening skills and entry level verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver a personal introduction in a professional environment.
