Course Overview
Students will learn basic hydraulic theory, the symbols associated with hydraulic documentation and hydraulic applications for instrumentation. Topics will include hydraulic pumps, motors, servos, valves, solenoids, filters and accumulators. Students will build various circuits from hydraulic schematics.

Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
Safety
- Demonstrate safe working practices in the lab.
Hydraulics
- Describe the function of different elements of hydraulic systems.
- Explain hydraulic specifications and safety hazards.
- Assemble various hydraulic circuits.
- Test the previously assembled hydraulic circuits.
- Troubleshoot any issues resulting from the testing of hydraulic circuits.
