Join us on Tuesday, November 25 at How to Talk to Strangers, sponsored by TD Insurance — an evening designed to help you communicate with confidence, expand your network, and advance your career.

Connect with fellow alumni, students, and industry professionals through an inspiring keynote by Dr. Candy Ho on harnessing your power skills to build lasting professional relationships. Then, put those skills into practice during our lively mixer and speed networking sessions in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

ABOUT THE FEATURED SPEAKER

Dr. Candy Ho
Leadership Studies Associate Certificate, 2008

Dr. Candy Ho is an internationally recognized career development educator, speaker, and scholar whose work bridges higher education, sustainability, and social impact. At Kwantlen Polytechnic University, she holds the Chancellor’s Chair and teaches in Educational Studies and leads research on integrating the UN SDGs into curricula. As President of Career Connections Consulting, she helps organizations build inclusive, future-ready career ecosystems. A dynamic keynote speaker featured in major media, Candy inspires global audiences on meaningful work and lifelong learning. She also serves on several national education boards including the BCIT Alumni Association and champions career development as a catalyst for equity, hope, and transformative change.
