Get Credit for What you Already Know

If you have recent cardiology work experience you may be eligible for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) if you are enrolling into the cardiology diploma program. This process allows you to earn credit for your existing knowledge and skills—saving you time and money as you work toward your credential.

Once you’ve been accepted into the cardiology diploma program, you can connect with the Program Head to discuss your background and explore how it may apply to your course requirements. This is a great opportunity to customize your learning path and potentially fast-track your studies.

Testimonial

I’m in the last few weeks of the second cardiology technology clinical, and it’s been an amazing experience. Hands-on learning has been my favourite aspect, where everything you’ve studied the last few years really comes together. I love that there’s a variety of jobs; you can work in Emergency one day and run Stress Tests in the lab the next. It’s a very rewarding job, and the opportunity for work right now is more abundant than ever.
