Master of Science in Ecological Restoration - Online Info Session

Join us virtually on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an online Info Session and learn more about the M.Sc in Ecological Restoration program. Faculty will be available during the session to answer questions and share experiences and details about the program and courses.
Come join the graduates of our M.Sc. in Ecological Restoration at BCIT and be part of restoring the natural world! With ecological restoration becoming a priority across Canada, and internationally, the time is right to get this advanced training in ecological restoration. For example, the European Union announced in June 2024 that it passed a major and long-awaited plan to better protect nature in the 27-nation bloc. This legislation is designed to restore ecosystems, species and habitats throughout the EU, requiring member countries to meet specific restoration targets that will collectively cover at least 20% of the Union’s land and sea areas by 2030.
BCIT’s M.Sc. in Ecological Restoration offers a unique, interdisciplinary curriculum that blends science-based knowledge with hands-on practical skills necessary to deliver effective restoration programs, while leading respectful engagement with right-holder communities. With very few professionals trained in this new discipline, employment statistics for graduates are excellent. Our graduates have a greater than 90% employment rate for full-time work in ecological restoration and related fields.
