Indigenous Drumming Circle Workshop

September 22 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm PDT

Experience the rhythm of culture at the Drumming Circle Workshop: Indigenous Cultural Workshop, hosted at The Gathering Place, BCIT. This hands-on session brings you closer to the powerful role drums play in Indigenous traditions.

Drumming Circles are communal gatherings where people come together to play hand drums and other percussion instruments in an informal and often spontaneous manner. They are a way of engaging in rhythmic music-making that fosters connection, self-expression, and collaboration, regardless of participants’ musical experience or skill level.

This workshop offers more than just a creative activity—it’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and deepen your understanding of Indigenous traditions.

All supplies are provided. Don’t miss this chance to create something truly meaningful.

Registration is required.
