Healing Together: Orange Shirt T-Shirt Making Workshop

September 24 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm PDT

Promotional graphic for BCIT Indigenous Initiatives' Truth and Reconciliation Week 2026. The left side features an orange background with the text “Truth and Reconciliation Week 2026” and “Healing Together: Orange Shirt T-Shirt Making Workshop,” alongside BCIT and Indigenous Initiatives logos. The right side shows a close-up photograph of orange paper T-shirts being assembled on a table, with blue buttons attached and handwritten messages including “Never forget” and “Everyone should matter in your life.” A hand is visible holding paper materials above the craft project.

In honour and remembrance of the children who attended residential schools, join us for the We Will Always Remember Project. Create and personalize an orange or black t-shirt, or design a paper shirt, while reflecting on the importance of truth, remembrance, and reconciliation.

As you create, consider your own Call to Action and the role each of us can play in supporting reconciliation. Shirts and crafting supplies will be provided while quantities last.

Drop in anytime between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Please register to help us ensure we have enough supplies for all participants.
