Equity in Contracting 3.0

March 14 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm PDT

A panel of trades experts connecting and laughing

Building on the energy and impact of Equity in Contracting 2.0, Equity in Contracting 3.0 continues the work of strengthening pathways to leadership, ownership, and equity in the skilled trades.

In 2026, we are once again bringing together women and gender-diverse trades workers, contractors, industry leaders, and allies for a powerful day of connection, learning, and collective action. Equity in Contracting 3.0 deepens the conversation, moving beyond access and entry toward sustained leadership, business growth, and systemic change within the contracting and construction sectors.

Participants can expect:

  • Insightful discussions led by experienced trades leaders and changemakers
  • Practical strategies for navigating contracting, leadership, and entrepreneurship
  • Meaningful networking rooted in community, solidarity, and shared purpose
  • Celebration of achievements that continue to shift what leadership in the trades looks like

Grounded in the same spirit of collaboration that defined 2.0, this event reinforces a clear message: when we invest in equity, mentorship, and collective leadership, the entire industry is stronger.

Equity in Contracting 3.0 is proudly supported by the BCIT ConnectHER Hub, alongside valued partners and industry champions committed to creating safer, more inclusive, and more equitable futures in the trades.
