Join our online information session to learn about BCIT’s Advanced Perioperative Nursing Microcredential Badged Courses, Gastrointestinal Surgery & Obstetric and Gynecological Surgery. BCIT’s Perioperative Nursing Specialty Program delivers advanced nursing education for nurses (RNs or LPNs/RPNs) looking to specialize in the operating room. Perioperative nurses are an integral part of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anaesthesiologists and many more. Perioperative nursing consists of two main roles: the scrub nurse and the circulating nurse, both contributing to surgical patient outcomes. The information session will take place online February 23rd from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm. You will receive an email one day before the event with further instructions on how to join the info session. If you sign up on the same day as the info session you will receive an email shortly before the event starts.
