Join our online information session to learn about BCIT’s Advanced Perioperative Nursing Microcredential Badged Courses.
The Advanced Perioperative Nursing Microcredential Badged Courses are designed to expand perioperative nurses beyond the novice level by strengthening expertise across a range of surgical specialties. Each badged course helps nurses deepen their understanding of anatomy, common surgical procedures, and the critical role perioperative care plays in achieving optimal patient outcomes. Participants will also learn to develop individualized plans of care and build confidence in both scrub and circulating nurse roles. The badged courses are standalone, ranging from 0.5 to 3 credits. Currently available badges include Gastrointestinal (2.5 credits) and Gynecological/Obstetric (2 credits).
The information session will take place online from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm. You will receive an email one day before the event with further instructions on how to join the info session. If you sign up on the same day as the info session you will receive an email shortly before the event starts.
