On November 25th, Jennie Moore, BCIT’s Director of Sustainability and Centre for Ecocities, did a Global TV Morning Show interview for their “Shaping BC” segment. The topic was Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions which address food production, industrial manufacturing, and supply chain impacts, including embodied emissions in construction materials, motor vehicles, and infrastructure. BC municipalities are leaders in accounting for these emissions thanks to the BCIT Centre for Ecocities that supports reporting by 30 local governments across the Province, with funding provided by the Real Estate Foundation of BC.
