BCIT Guichon Creek Day (as part of World Rivers Day)

On Wednesday, September 20th from 12:30-3:30pm, BCIT will be hosting GUICHON CREEK DAY to celebrate Guichon Creek.

This year’s theme will be: “Celebrating waterways in our community.”

As a people focused organization, BCIT recognized Guichon Creek as a place of wellness where faculty, staff, students and members of the community can connect to nature, peace and tranquility during their busy workday. Efforts to restore the Creek to its natural habitat have been ongoing and will continue to be with future daylighting plans on the north side of campus.

GUICHON CREEK DAY will kick off with a Welcome from Elder Carleen Thomas and special guests at the Gazebo behind the Recreation Center.
