HR Options at BCIT's School of Business
We offer a variety of credentials; all are well known and respected by employers. Our graduates consistently achieve top scores on the exams leading to the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation and embark on challenging careers in their chosen profession.
- Certificate – A part time program for those who are currently working and wish to advance their careers in Human Resources.
- Human Resource Management Diploma – A 2 year full time program for students with little prior business education. The program provides a solid foundation in business and 12 specialized courses in Human Resource Management
- Human Resource Management Post Graduate Diploma – A nine month intensive program concentrating on all functional areas of HRM for those who already have a degree or diploma
- Bachelor of Business Administration – A three year degree, that encompasses business, HRM and liberal arts courses and meets the requirements for those wishing to continue on to programs leading to advanced degrees. Start with your 2 year HR diploma and one more year of coursework can earn you a BBA degree!
The Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and BBA all have an applied focus and include an industry consulting project.
