CITX 1110 - A+ Hardware Technician
A+ Certified Technicians possess knowledge and skills essential for employment as computer service technicians. This course utilizes the hardware and software technologies used in today's workplace and aligns with the topics examined in the A+ certification exam. The course includes lab activities in which students work with computer hardware and operating systems software to develop troubleshooting skills, assemble and configure computers, add peripherals, and customize the operation of the computer. It is recommended that students complete CITX 0120 Computer Hardware Setup & Configuration or have basic knowledge of the components of a computer prior to attending this course. (6 Credits)
