Course Overview
Covers basic and intermediate custom painting techniques using an airbrush. Focuses on rendering special effects such as granite stone, ripped metal, wood grain, diamond plate, realistic fire, 3-D shadowing and airbrush marbleizing. Airbrush set-up and use will be demonstrated and practiced throughout the course. Students will have an opportunity to practice the application of a variety of custom graphics and effects using an Iwata Eclipse airbrush.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Operate and maintain an airbrush with minimum supervision.
- Render a variety of custom painting special effects using an airbrush to apply basecoat paints to prepped panels.
- Transfer complex graphic designs to various canvases using masking and plotting materials.
