Implementation of the next phase of the BCIT People Vision

We are sharing an update on the Strategic Plan deliverable that we are leading, which falls under our commitment to being a people-focused organization and BCIT’s People Vision that supports the BCIT Strategic Plan.

While we are still reviewing the 2023 BCIT Employee Experience Pulse Check Survey results, we wanted to share the progress on the People Vision focus areas:

  • Talent up 3% – attracting, developing, and retaining employees to grow careers and the organization.
  • Wellness up 2% – support for our people in prioritizing health while creating a great workplace.
  •  Connectedness up 2% – leveraging employee contributions to enhance our community and deliver results.
  • Accountability up 1% – supporting employees with clarity to enable responsibility and initiative.
  • Empowerment down 1% – enabling employees to work productively and confidently.
    We look forward to sharing more details when the overall 2023 BCIT Employee Experience Pulse Check Survey results are released in January 2024.

Priorities will be identified for each of the focus areas and accomplishments will also be shared with the community at that time.

We will continue to report updates twice a year, with the next progress update scheduled for January 2024.
