What if your BCIT degree could take you to Austria, Belgium, Germany, or Switzerland, and lead to a second international degree?
Through the BCIT School of Business + Media Double Degree program, eligible Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students can complete part of their studies at a partner university in Europe and graduate with two bachelor’s degrees: one from BCIT and one from their international institution.
Why choose a double degree?
Business is global, and your education can be too. A Double Degree lets you experience business from a new perspective, build international connections, immerse yourself in another culture, and gain experience that can strengthen your future career.
After completing an eligible BCIT diploma and progressing into a business degree, students can spend approximately two semesters abroad, with some options including an international internship.
Financial support may also be available through the Glenna Urschatz International Award and other partner or government funding opportunities.
Take your accounting degree to Vienna, Austria
Study at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna and earn a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance. Spend two academic terms, or one academic and one internship term, in one of Europe’s major financial centres.
Eligible students may also receive the Ernst Mach Grant of €1,150 per month during their studies in Austria.
Take your Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) across Europe
BBA students can choose from several Double Degree destinations:
Artevelde University of Applied Sciences — Belgium
Earn a Bachelor in International Business Management in the heart of Europe. The program includes an internship term, offering the opportunity to gain international work experience.
HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences — Germany

Munich University of Applied Sciences — Germany
Earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in one of Germany’s major economic centres, home to numerous global companies.

Students may also be eligible for the FHNW Worldwide Support grant of CHF 2,500 during their studies.
Where could your BCIT degree take you?
A Double Degree is more than studying abroad. It’s an opportunity to earn two credentials, experience business in an international setting, build connections around the world, and return with a new perspective on your future career.
Two degrees. Two countries. One global experience.
