BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service welcomes new organizational clients

BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service is expanding its impact in supporting Canadian organizations that rely on internationally trained professionals. International Credential Evaluation Service is pleased to welcome three new organizational clients—the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), Simon Fraser University’s School of Medicine (SFU SoM) and Excel Career College—to its growing list of partners that depend on credential evaluation to inform admissions, licensing, and workforce decisions.

BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service is also in talks with many other professional organizations and regulatory bodies across Canada to expand their reach and assist internationally trained professionals reach their goals.

As Canada continues to address workforce shortages in health care and other high-demand sectors, organizations increasingly require trusted organizations to ensure skilled newcomers can contribute their expertise quickly and confidently. BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service plays a central role by providing transparent, reliable assessments that help decision-makers understand international education in the Canadian context.                

Strengthening Canada’s nursing workforce

The College of Nurses of Ontario, the largest nursing regulator in the country, is now partnering with BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service to evaluate international applicants seeking to join the profession. This collaboration supports CNO’s mandate to register qualified nurses while helping address ongoing labour shortages in Ontario’s health-care system.

Supporting the next generation of physicians

SFU’s new School of Medicine—Canada’s first new medical school in more than half a century—has also selected BCIT International Credential Evaluation Service to support its admissions processes. With a strong focus on primary care and community health, SFU SoM seeks to attract diverse learners, including internationally educated applicants whose credentials require expert evaluation.
