SUMMARY:World Rivers Day Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Over the last few year BCIT has been restoring areas of our campus to increase biodiversity and improve habitat. As a celebration of World Rivers Day join us for a bird walk to see some of the range of species that now call BCIT home. We’ll walk along the edges of Guichon Creek and through the forest to give a chance to hopefully see a variety of birds.\n\n\nWe’ll start from outside the Rec Centre next to the Creek and walk along the creek from there. \nWhat to bring \n·         A pair of binoculars makes identifying and enjoying the birds easier. We’ll have some spare sets but feel free to bring your own. \n·         If you have a bird identification app on your phone or a bird book they can make spotting birds more enjoyable \n·         Please bring appropriate footwear / clothing for a short walk through the forest \nRegistration \nRegistration is limited to 25\, as too large a group makes it difficult to see birds.
