Production and Inventory Management

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification is recognized and valued by employers globally as the standard of professional competence in production and inventory control.

BCIT offers CPIM exam preparation courses that help the student prepare to write the APICS CPIM exams. The courses can also be used as credit towards the BCIT Materials Management Certificate.

APICS has reconfigured the CPIM program and the original five exams will be replaced with two Part 1 and Part 2 exams. Part 1 exam covers Basics of Supply Chain Management. Part 2 exam covers the other four topics. Changes to the BCIT courses will occur in 2017 and 2018 as shown below. Learn more about the new APICS CPIM exam format.
