This course provides leaders with practical strategies and processes to develop a high performance work environment that values people. Each module will explore how to use human resource systems to effectively identify and address issues in the workplace. The course also addresses ways in which a technical manager may examine and enhance his or her own career. Time will be spent examining the relationship between the organization's human resources needs and the ways in which these needs can be met through: HR Planning, Job Analysis and Design, Selection and Recruitment, Motivation, Career Planning and Development, Performance, Evaluation, Training and Development.
