This business language and culture course is designed for students who have very little or no Italian language skills. Throughout this course students will develop the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as gaining a basic knowledge of Italian culture, specifically related to business. The course will include communicative classroom activities and take home exercises to enable students to develop a good command of Italian pronunciation and basic grammar. At the end of the course, students will be able to conduct simple daily conversations and to read and write short sentences. This course addresses the practical needs of dealing with real-life situations in Italian business and everyday contexts. Each class is based on a couple of themes that contain the most commonly used expressions.
