This course concentrates on exam content from the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge-Sixth Edition (PMBOK® Guide). The program is designed for preparing you to write the Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification exam and provides PMBOK® Guide review for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam. You will prepare for the exam through a comprehensive review of the process groups and knowledge areas as they relate to examination, including a review of the key concepts, terminology, and principles. The course includes an outline of the certification process and exam format, along with practice exam questions, a simulated exam, and practical test-taking techniques.
Please note that the lecture component for this course is asynchronous, not requiring you to meet each and every week at a specific time, however, there will be specific timelines for assignments and exams. It is important you have a stable and consistent internet connection to access course content. Course content, type and quality of assignments, and general standards for this online course are the same as classroom courses. To be successful in this online course, plan to spend 7-10 hours per week on your studies, or more of it’s a condensed course, starting Week 1.
