Explore a selected area of perinatal nursing practice, identifying specific rationale for selection of this area of practice.
Build on knowledge of childbearing women and their families, concepts of health and growth, family-centered care, and partnership.
Employ processes of critical thinking, systematic inquiry, communication, collaboration, professionalism, and growth throughout the clinical preceptorship.

Demonstrate growth in knowledge and skills in relation to a selected area of perinatal nursing practice.
Demonstrate increased knowledge of childbearing women and their families, concepts of health and growth, family-centered care and partnership in relation to a selected area of perinatal nursing practice.
