This course assists learners to further broaden their knowledge of work environments and the work-health relationship. Students use a population health promotion model for the risk assessment of health challenges arising from psychosocial, safety, and ergonomic issues in the workplace. This course forms a bridge to future learning in assessing worker health. The processes of systematic inquiry and critical thinking are used to analyze jobs for environmental, psychosocial, safety, and biomechanical demands on employees.
