BCIT is planning for a substantial return to on-campus activity for the fall 2021 term as informed by BC Public Health Officer guidelines. Refer to each course listing for details.
This course is the culmination of the Certificate in Web Technologies. You will draw together all of the knowledge and skills that you have acquired in the Certificate program and present them in terms of a personal online portfolio. There will be ten assignments (portfolio web pages) and each assignment focusses on a specific skill or technique, although other design elements to create a well-balanced web page should be included. You should approach this course with the idea that you will create a marketing tool that can be used to demonstrate your design background and skillset to prospective clients.
All other courses in the Certificate program must be completed before the final project MDIA 4500. This course will be delivered entirely online, however, is an asynchronous course which does not require that you meet each week at a specific time. You will be expected to meet assignment deadlines according to the schedule on the course outline and directions of the instructor.
Important course information will be sent to you prior to your course start
date. Check your myBCIT email account to
access this information.
