Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have a basic, working understanding of:
The principle components, basic standards of design and installation and fire control and fire suppression effectiveness of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge automatic sprinkler systems, and standpipe and hose systems installed in commercial and industrial premises.
The testing of water supplies.
The testing and inspection of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge automatic sprinkler systems and standpipe and hose systems - identify and describe applicable inspection and test procedures.
