Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Work with the PHP CLI features.
Write classes to generate PHP objects.
Build applications using a major, industry standard, PHP framework.
Use the Composer package manager to leverage third party open-source libraries.
Interact with MySQL via PHP objects and query builders.
Write back end MVC web applications.
Write PHP CLI applications.
Explain the use of JSON to power a front end applications.
Discuss security issues and write secure, robust code resistant to errors and attacks.
Install a variety of libraries to use powerful resources such as compression, encryption,
and password security.
Adopt and implement web applications that talk to other webservices through their SDK.
Write high-quality and high-performing web applications to industry standards.
