Following on from COMP 0371 students who already understand how to use MS Access to create multiple tables, generate queries and reports are introduced to data analysis with MS Access. In this one-day workshop participants will gain hands-on experience using MS Access to generate advanced queries and customized reports to better manage data to produce meaningful output. Students focus on turning raw data into usable information. They practice creating complex queries such as crosstab queries, parameter queries, find duplicates, unmatched duplicates and action queries. Labs and exercises include an in-depth look at customizing reports for effective reporting with MS Access. Skill builder exercises are used throughout the day, participants will practice using raw data in MS Access and convert it into useful information for data analysis and decision making. Upon completion of both COMP 0371 and COMP 0372 successful students will be prepared to move on to COMP 2375- Advanced Microsoft Access Development.
