This capstone integrative course is designed to dramatically improve the quality of student decision-making in a time sensitive global environment. Enables students to utilize the principles of strategic management enhanced by contemporary new analytical concepts. Simulates real-world decisions via team case studies and the applications of management decision support systems.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
Integrate related disciplines and skills in a time sensitive decision-making environment.
Apply strategic management techniques to specific public and private sector organizations, thus effecting desired changes within a comprehensive, responsive management system.
Adapt various decision tools to case studies and projects (i.e., Value Chain Analysis, Economic Value Added, Shareholder Value Analysis, standard financial statement analysis).
Apply strategic theories to business examples.
Analyse business problems using a structured decision model.
Recommend solutions to business problems.
Identify implementation issues when developing a solution to a business problem.
Apply the principles of Sustainable Competitive Advantage to business situations.
Analyze the competitive global economy (culture, politics, technology, economy) and relate the conclusions to various business situations.
Apply Strategic Repositioning and Organizational Adaptation to business situations.
Adapt the principles and skills from the program to form a comprehensive view of necessary management skills which successful managers will need for the future.
