Building Science Part-time Studies Course

Course Details

Research skills are only one component of being able to successfully complete a thesis project. Students also need to meet the demands of the specific genre of thesis composition in the areas of organization, tone, and grammar. This series of workshops will examine the overall requirements of academic writing at the graduate level and apply them to students’ current thesis and proposal writing projects.

  • Identify the steps for completing a thesis
  • Create a timeline for completing the steps
  • Apply understanding of the different demands for each section of a thesis
  • Develop the capacity to review and edit their own work independently
