Exam addresses topics related to the fundamentals of human body structure and function based on curriculum of 6-credits of post-secondary anatomy and physiology course (s). It covers material related to body organization, cytology, histology and the structure and function of the following organ systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive. No study materials and/or instructor support are provided. Exam is designed for Bachelor of Science Nursing Applicants that have taken a 6 credit Anatomy and Physiology course and received a minimum C+ (67%) but do not meet the three (3) year recency requirement. No study material or instructor support provided in preparation for exam as students expected to have proficiency with the material. The challenge exam is two (2) hours and can be taken once (lifetime). A minimum of 75% is needed to pass. If you register and write this exam a second time, the mark from first attempt is used. Mark submitted to Student Records and Admissions Officer upon completion and before program closing deadline. If you feel unprepared to write exam at any point, feel free to withdraw BEFORE EXAM WRITING DATE, by calling 604-434-1610. For non-local students residing outside of the Greater Vancouver Region (Squamish to Abbotsford), online exams may need to be proctored at an accredited institution.
