Exam addresses topics related to the fundamentals of human body structure and function based on curriculum of 6-credits of post-secondary anatomy and physiology course (s). It covers material related to body organization, cytology, histology and the structure and function of the following organ systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive. No study materials and/or instructor support are provided. Exam is designed for Bachelor of Science Nursing Applicants that have taken a 6 credit Anatomy and Physiology course and received a minimum C+ (67%) but does not meet the three (3) year recency requirement. No study materials or instructor support provided in preparation for exam as students are expected to have proficiency with the material. The challenge exam is two (2) hours and can be taken once (lifetime) and requires a minimum of 75% to pass. If a student registers and writes this exam a second time, the mark from their first attempt will be used. Mark will be submitted to Student Records and Admissions Officer upon completion and before program closing deadline. For non-local students residing outside of the Greater Vancouver Region (Squamish to Abbotsford), online exams can be proctored at an accredited institution. Upon completion of exam, students will have Anatomy and Physiology entrance requirement for the Nursing program fulfilled.
