To support you and your education, BCIT is adapting applied learning in formats appropriate to the unfolding global situation. All PTS classes are being delivered in an online format unless you are notified otherwise.
What matters the most in photography is finding a voice which represents personal perspectives and notions. It is all about how you see the world and how you express your vision through photography. This course examines the necessary fundamental components of a "good" photograph; which includes exposure, composition, mood, shadows, subject matter, uniqueness, post processing, etc. By exploring the most influential photographs of all time and expanding skills on evaluating their purposes and stories, students will learn how to create an effectual and evocative image. Ultimately, this course aims to answer this question: How can photography push emotions and perception into something pure and powerful?
