To support you and your education, BCIT is adapting applied learning in formats appropriate to the unfolding global situation. Spring and Summer PTS classes are being delivered in an online format unless you are notified otherwise.
Grow your potential for employment in communications, media relations, and the news media. Explore how to write an engaging blog and develop the skills and confidence to work in any media newsroom. You’ll get much writing practice in this course and become well-grounded in the principles of journalism. Skills learned dovetail with BCST1148 'Interviewing for the Media' and, combined, offer the opportunity to vigorously stimulate your communication skill set.
