Designed for experienced AutoCAD users who would like to take advantage of AutoCAD's customization features to increase productivity and ease of use. Topics include configuration, modifying the ACAD.PGP file, accelerator keys, menu customization, command macros, sources of AutoCAD utilities, script files, slide libraries, custom linetypes, and basic DIESEL.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Create and manage multiple AutoCAD profiles.
Create command aliases.
Add external commands to AutoCAD.
Describe and create macro commands.
Create, use, and manage custom menus.
Locate and use AutoCAD utilities.
Describe, create and use script files for automating procedures.
Describe and use OLE (Object Linking and Embedding).
Create custom linetypes.
Customize menus with DIESEL.
