Don’t want to wait?
You can avoid the line-ups!
Purchase your textbooks in advance. The first week of classes for the Fall Term is a very busy time so purchase your textbooks as soon as you register. For more information visit the Downtown Campus Bookstore.

Student Registration is on the second floor. Pictures taken at DTC will require up to five business days for processing and delivery. Students can use the online photo submission process to reduce processing time to approximately two business days by selecting the DTC campus as the pick-up location.
eJobs is a free to use BCIT service for students and alumni to help find their dream job.
Evening parking starts at 4:30 at a rate of $7.25 per night. Come early on busier nights (Tues to Thurs), as our lot fills up by around 5:00 p.m. Parking is by stall number, which means you don’t need to place the parking ticket stub on your car’s dashboard. Tips:
- If there is a long line-up at the parking ticket dispenser, consider taking the elevator up to P1 and paying for your parking on that level. There is less chance of line-ups on P1. Just remember your stall number.
- BCIT is part of the VERRUS pay-by-cell-phone system (similar to the one used by City of Vancouver). If you don’t mind the $0.30 service charge, you can pay for parking using your cell phone once you reach the street level. You will need to establish a VERRUS account in advance and remember your stall number.
