Refrigeration Mechanic - RFMX

Course Learning Outcomes/Competencies
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Describe the most common types of welding processes that one may find in the Refrigeration Industry.
- Identify the basic safety precautions and procedures for welding, cutting, and allied processes.
- Identify the protective equipment and clothing needed for welding.
- Perform and use required safety procedures for start-up and shut down of equipment.
- Perform basic butt joints using high temperature welding rods.
- Perform basic high temperature brazing applications.
- Perform basic low temperature brazing applications to copper pipe.
- Perform basic cutting tasks.
