Practicing sustainable stewardship requires leaders who can balance these values. SUMMARY:Architectural and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician (Structural Option)
DESCRIPTION:Join us virtually on Monday\, June 22\, 2026\, from 5:00 – 6:00 pm for an online info session about the Architectural and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician (Structural option) program at BCIT. During the session\, a faculty member will present program highlights\, explain the differences between the two areas of specialization and answer questions from attendees. \nApplicants to the program are accepted on a first qualified basis as long as space remains and with only two entrance requirements\, this program is great for students of any background! \nThe Architectural and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician program offers two areas of specialization: Architectural CADD and Graphics Technician and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician. Applicants must indicate area of specialization on their application. \nArchitectural and Structural CADD and Graphics Technician programs at BCIT offer training for a variety of applications in architecture\, building construction and industrial applications. CADD (Computer-Aided Drafting and Design) is an integral part of all our drafting programs. \nAll students begin in September and must complete a drafting and CADD core and specialty. Total program length: 40 weeks. \nThe Program\nThis specialty applies drafting and computer applications with design skills to provide specific detailed information on structural building components and the preparation of working drawings\, using structural techniques and requirements as they apply to building construction. \nRegister for the online info session below to learn more about the program.
