BCIT is known for demanding programs that are designed to prepare students for a professional career.

However, there are plenty of opportunities for international students to make new friends and to enjoy campus life while at BCIT!

BCIT Student Association (BCITSA)

The BCITSA is run by an elected executive council of students and organizes many events and programs for all students. They also manage BCIT’s campus pub, Habitat, which is a fun place for anyone (19+) to meet friends after class for a delicious meal or a game of billiards!

Explore the BCITSA website to find out more about what they have to offer.

BCIT International social club

The purpose of the International Social Club is to provide students with the opportunity to make connections with peers from diverse backgrounds. It is a totally inclusive club and any BCIT student is welcome to join – including domestic students! There is a $20 one-time member registration fee and new members receive a complimentary club t-shirt.

BCIT International proudly sponsors the International Social Club and a BCIT staff member from the International Student Centre serves as the BCIT Staff Advisor to the club. However, please note that all student clubs are run by an executive team of students and are administered by the BCITSA.

See the International Social Club Facebook page or email for more information.
