How to Apply to a Full-time Program

• View BCIT’s programs and courses and select a program that fits your goals.

• Each program has specific entrance requirements.
• Click the “Program Entry” link on the right of the program page, to view the requirements.
• If you do not meet the English requirements, BCIT offers the International Student Entry Program to upgrade your English skills.
• If you do not meet any other entrance requirements (Math, Chemistry, Physics etc.) you have the following options:
  • Upgrade your skills outside Canada
  • Upgrade your skills at BCIT.
• Not quite finished a required course? Learn how to apply using your midterm grades.

• Scan your transcripts and other supporting documents into PDF files.
• Certified English translations must be submitted with non-English transcripts.
• If your program requires your foreign education to be evaluated, submit your credential to the International Credential Evaluation Service. Then, include the completed credential evaluation with your online application.
• Have a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) ready to pay your application fee: CA$154.

• Login (or, if you’re new to BCIT, create your BCIT ID and login)
• Follow the instructions to select and apply for your program.
• Pay the application fee: CA$154.

Once you’ve submitted your application, you can check your application status on myBCIT.

• Log in to myBCIT.
• Click “Check Application Status or Upload More Documents” under Student Self Service.
