Pink Shirt Day at BCIT
BCIT is committed to providing a learning and working environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment. That is why we strongly encourage all students and employees to participate in Pink Shirt (Anti-Bullying) Day on Wednesday, February 28.
How can I support Pink Shirt Day at BCIT?
It's easy. Come dressed in pink on Wednesday, February 28. Any pink attire will do. You can also choose to purchase an 'Official Pink T-Shirt' – see details below.
To demonstrate our anti-bullying spirit, we urge everyone to join our pink shirt group photo, scheduled at 11:30am on Wednesday, February 28 in the gym at the Recreation Centre. Let's stand together in our pink attire to show our support for the cause!
Where can I buy an 'Official Pink T-Shirt'?
You can support the CKNW Orphan's Fund by purchasing an official pink shirt online at: CKNW – Pink Shirt Day. Buttons, pins and bracelets are also available.
Net proceeds from shirt sales go toward supporting a number of worthy anti-bullying programs, including Boys and Girls Clubs of BC, Canadian Red Cross of BC, Kids Help Phone, KidSafe Project Society, Leave Out Violence Society (LOVE BC), and YWCA Metro Vancouver.
