The estimated overall cost of the Core Shack Training Facility is $1.1M, with BCIT providing the building space, equipment and operational costs, valued at $500,000.

We are reaching out to industry partners for the remaining $600,000 needed to build this one-of-a kind facility in Canada (this includes $150,000 in sponsorships and bursaries). The Core Shack will be located in a high profile location within the BCIT Burnaby Campus and there is an excellent naming opportunity for the lead industry donor. In addition, we are looking for donation of core from a range of mineral deposit types.
