Arron Ferguson has been teaching at BCIT for 21 years in several programs including the Computer Systems Technology (CST) diploma, the Computer Information Technology (CIT) diploma program, the CST Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) bachelors program, the Digital Design and Development (D3) diploma program, the New Media Design & Web Development certificate program, and various technology courses throughout the years.


Arron has as Bachelor of Technology from BCIT in Distributed Systems, a Masters in Digital Media (MDM) from the Centre of Digital Media (CDM), and is currently a PhD student at Simon Fraser University's (SFU) School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) where is he researching Generative Narrative (GA) within the field of Computational Creativity.


Arron's interests and foci fit within the digital media realm, an area where art & design meet science and technology. His stop-motion animation, film making, and story telling background are coupled with his interest and passion for software engineering — complimenting the direction within computational creativity.
